Sure, you can get a tote bag from the New Yorker or the Metropolitan Museum of Art and you’ll get the usual comments like, “Don’t you just love the New Yorker?”, or “The Met is absolutely one of my favorite museums!” Yawn.
Or you could sashay around with one of these babies and hear something more like, “Where in the H-E-Double-Hockeysticks did you get that wild tote?” And then you can tell them and possibly make a friend for life. Or you could smile all Mona Lisa-like and keep on walking. It’s your tote. And your choice.
